Waste Water Treatment

Waste Water Treatment

The waste water, also called “used water” or “effluent” has a micro biological load could be a risk factor for public health. Therefore the waste water should be transformed by treatment in a status that allows the discharge in any emissary (river, lake, sea etc) without any prejudice to flora and fauna.

The treatment of waste water is a complex process carried out with high performance equipments based of environment notices, approvals and authorizations issued by competent authorities, in accordance with legal regulations for water and environment quality protection so as to ensure both, environment protection and preservation as well as public health safety.

The treatment of waste water and rain falls transported through sewerage system is made in Waste Water Treatment Plant by mechanical and biological procedure, resulting sludge. On it turn, the sludge is treated by anaerobic digestion and dewatering afterwards being disposed on the own ecological deposit, in order to be used in agriculture.

Brasov waste Water Treatment Plant is included in an ongoing programme financed by European Union Funds, for it full technological upgrade. More details on this programme please find here: Company / Projects Financed by EU Funds / SOP ENV
